The seventh annual Oakwood Lakes Trail Run will have a different format this year.
Rather than a competitive race, the trail run at the state park near Bruce will become a group run with no entry fee, no race shirts, no preregistration and no timing. The 4-mile run is 7:30 a.m. July 20.
The race starts and ends at the west lake boat ramp parking lot. The course follows grass and gravel trails and overlooks several of the lakes that make up Oakwood Lakes State Park.
Park entrance ($8/vehicle daily fee) is an additional cost. It is strongly recommended to purchase a pass prior to event.
