The Brookings OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) offered 41 in-person classes this past fall. That is in addition to the 56 classes in Sioux Falls, 29 in Vermillion and 32 on Zoom. It was a full and fun-filled semester with many new members enjoying the enrichment and comradery that OLLI provides.

The variety of courses to enroll in was extremely varied. From a "Taste and Tour of the BlackFork Farms Distillery" in Brandt, to book discussions, and a workshop to "Make Your Own Winter Wreath" at McCrory Gardens. History classes covered "Building Cedar Strip Canoes" and "Collecting Old U.S. Coins." There were demonstrations from Down Home BBQ with Rub n’ Tug and "Composting 101" at the Dakota Nature Park. OLLI members savored increasing their knowledge by learning many interesting facts and useful skills.
