VERONA, Wis. — South Dakota State’s Carson Noecker places in the top 50 at the NCAA Cross Country Championship meet Saturday morning.
Noecker ran well at the NCAA Cross Country Championship meet. The sophomore crossed the line at 29:29.6, finishing less than four seconds short of his 10K PR that he set last week at the Midwest Regional competition. Noecker’s time landed him in 44th place out of 252 competitors. Noecker is now the third Jackrabbit to compete at the NCAA Championship meet. He was preceded by Trent Lusignan and Joel Reichow.
As the cross country season comes to a close, indoor track and field season starts to heat up. The Jackrabbit track and field squad will make their season debut at the SDSU Holiday Open on Dec. 6-7.
