Brookings Area United Way has always been committed to supporting local programs that meet our community’s most pressing needs — from mental health to food insecurity and housing to school readiness programs. Right now, this support is more critical than ever.
Recently, impacts have been felt in Brookings County due to adjustments made to state and federal resources. There are still unknowns regarding how changes at the federal level will ultimately impact the operations of Brookings County nonprofits and government services as well as the Brookings Community overall. Several local agencies are already feeling the strain but are working hard to mitigate those effects so that the critical programs that support our local families will not be disrupted.
Community support is more important than ever. Every dollar donated to Brookings Area United Way stays here in our community, helping families, neighbors, children, and seniors live safer, healthier lives. Your support ensures that vital services remain available during this time of uncertainty. Please consider donating today. Together, we can help Brookings maintain these essential services and emerge even stronger than ever.
Thank you for your continued support. We are truly blessed to live in a community that cares so much.
