The OLLI membership once again feels humbled and honored by the support we received this fall from the Brookings community.
There was a uniting of so many individuals, organizations and businesses who gave and shared their time and resources to ensure quality courses.
The Brookings OLLI Curriculum Committee would like to express their deepest thanks to the following for exceeding expectations in providing the OLLI members with a memorable semester.
Sincere thanks go out to Jennifer Widman, director of the Festival of Books for the South Dakota Humanities Council, for her presentation at our open house. Her talk on the Festival of Books brought a unique feature to this annual event.
Warmest appreciation for the individual member gift bags from Rowdy Warr for his class at Brookings Vision Center, Hy-Vee for the SDSU ice cream for our SDSU-themed event, and Forte Living for hosting and advertising our open house.
A very special thank you is extended to First Bank and Trust for their funding support this year.
Our members were able to attain more knowledge, enjoy increased fellowship opportunities and remain actively engaged.
The Brookings OLLI members continue to be uplifted and grateful for this exceptional support from the community.
Thank you.
