I want to share why I’m excited to support Rep. Mellissa Heermann for reelection to the State House of Representatives.

Rep, Heermann has always been deeply committed to our community. From her volunteer work through church, youth activities, Junior Achievement, and PTA, to her time on the Brookings School Board and her experience in city government, she’s consistently shown her commitment to service for others. And as a mother of three, she understands the dedication it takes to build a brighter future for the next generation, and she brings that same dedication and passion to her work in the Legislature.

During her time in the state legislature, Mellissa has been a strong voice for District 7. She’s promoted excellent education for our students, high quality of life for South Dakota families, and strong economic growth. I’ve seen firsthand that when working for her constituents, Rep. Heermann is very engaged, a great listener, and cares deeply for the people of our district. Her leadership has brought meaningful results, and we need more of that in Pierre. This Nov. 5, I encourage everyone to vote for Mellissa Heermann for District 7 State House.
