The Brookings Bobcats dropped both games of a doubleheader with the Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots at Bob Shelden Field on Tuesday night. Brookings lost the first game 10-0 before losing the nightcap 18-6.

After a tough road trip out west, the Brookings Bobcats have benefitted from a return to Bob Shelden Stadium, winning a pair of games during a doubleheader with Sioux Falls Jefferson on Tuesday afternoon.

Sioux Valley improved to 8-1 on the season after the Cossacks swept a doubleheader against Colman-Egan on Tuesday afternoon. The Cossacks won game one 13-5 and followed that with a 6-3 victory in game two.

The Brookings Bobcats’ offense led the way as they picked up a 20-1 win over the Mitchell Kernels on Tuesday afternoon. Six home runs highlighted the win as Kymber Buys hit three homers, Morgan Norgaard homered twice and Kinzey Grendler had one home run.

The Sioux Valley boys took first place and the Sioux Valley girls took second place at the Estelline Alumni Meet on Tuesday afternoon.
