BROOKINGS — Brookings School Board members will join the Brookings City Council for an evening edition of its Community Office Hours on Wednesday. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mosaic Wine Bar & Small Plates in downtown Brookings.
The come-and-go event aims to provide citizens a unique opportunity to connect with their elected city and school board representatives in a casual setting. People are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and concerns, learn about initiatives and projects, and connect with fellow neighbors.
The City Council hosts community coffee events in an effort to open communication and foster a connection with residents. For more ways to connect with councilors, visit www.cityofbrookings-sd.gov/CityCouncil.
