PIERRE – The Bobcats topped the Lady Govs 50-37 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ basketball game Friday night.
Brookings led 14-12 after a quarter, 28-17 at halftime and 36-25 through three.
Michaela Jewett scored 15 points in the win. Ava Burns and Johanna Miller added eight points apiece, and Peyton Evans tallied seven.
The Bobcats got back to the .500 mark – 9-9 – and moved to 9-6 in league games. They play host to Yankton on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
For Pierre (6-11, 5-8), Emily Mikkelsen had 22 points.
