WATERTOWN – Sixteen area student-athletes earned a spot on the South Dakota Football Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.
To be honored, a student-athlete must be a senior, have a GPA of 3.5 and have played or managed football three years.
Area honorees include: Brookings: Justin Devine, Parker Beers, Logan Bowes, Tucker Christie and Matt Osmanski; Arlington/Lake Preston: Devon Heuer, Nicholas Kersting and Connor Hoffman.; Deubrook Area: Clayton Koppatschek and Jacob Johnson; Elkton-Lake Benton: Dylan Kuehl; Estelline/Hendricks: Zach Loomis; Flandreau: James Auren and Nate Kneebone; Oldham-Ramona-Rutland: Taylor Hojer and Jack Olson.
