KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After the first of two rounds, the South Dakota State women’s golf team sits tied for second Monday at the Kansas City Intercollegiate.
The Jackrabbits shot an opening-round 302 at the par-72, 6,069-yard Creekmoor Golf Club. IUPUI leads the 10-team field, shooting a 299.
Teresa Toscano, Sydney Bormann and Cassidy Laidlaw are all tied for fourth after shooting three-over par 75s. Toscano collected birdies on the seventh and ninth holes while Bormann and Laidlaw also birdied the ninth hole.
Magda Kruger is tied for 11th, firing a 77 with a pair of birdies. Natcha Srimaneerungroj is tied for 47th (85).
