BROOKINGS – A Street Department crew striped a no parking zone, along with the rest of the new parking lot south of the Brookings City & County Government Center on Monday.
The parking lot has 44 stalls to help with overcrowding in the lot to the west of city hall, which can fill up quickly, especially when there are seminars and training being conducted on weekdays.
The lot can be used by the public on the weekend, too, especially when there are downtown events.
