Antique iron drag stolen

WHITE – A large antique iron drag was stolen recently, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported at 6:25 p.m. Friday and occurred in the 200 block of West Fifth Street in White, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.

The theft happened sometime in the past two weeks, he added.

“It is described as being 5 feet by 5 feet with iron teeth and is distinguishable as the brackets that hold the chain in place had broken and were replaced with yellow plastic that stands out,” Sebring said.

The value of the drag is unknown.
