BROOKINGS – BATA is offering free rides to early voting for the November election.
Voters should call 692-2222 to schedule a ride to and from the Brookings City & County Government Center, where early voting takes place through Nov. 5. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
BATA also offers free rides to polling places on Election Day, Nov. 6. Voters must call to schedule a ride that day as well.
“BATA is glad to provide this service to help people vote,” said Brenda Schweitzer, BATA executive director.
