BROOKINGS – Pictured above, from left, are: Craig Pahl, BEP Board member; Teree Nesvold, president of BEP Board; Deb Eilers, Limestone Accounting and BEP Board member; and Doug O’Neill, chairman of BEP Caregiver Support Group Committee.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. In preparation for that month, the Brookings Mental Health BATA bus was recently unveiled. The bus, which will begin operations in May, is a collaborative effort among the Brookings Empowerment Project (BEP), Brookings Area United Way, Brookings Behavioral Health and Wellness, and Limestone Accounting.
The graphics on the bus promote a new call-in number established by BEP for caregivers wanting to find out about BEP caregiver support groups and other educational activities. For more information, check out the BEP website at empowerbrookings.org or find them on Facebook as The Brookings Empowerment Project.
