5:15 p.m. Smoke coming from the heating unit at 825 Eighth Ave. First time unit had been turned on and tripped CO alarm. Investigation only. Scene cleared at 5:41 p.m.
5:20 p.m. Grain dryer fire at 47370 219th St. Cleared grain out of two legs. Scene cleared at 5:50 p.m.
12:51 p.m. Alarm activation at 530 Elm Ave. The high school held a fire drill and could not reset the alarm panel. Scene cleared at 12:57 p.m.
7:28 p.m. Oven fire at 103 Second St. S. A self-cleaning oven was started and caught the debris on fire and created a lot of smoke. Cleared the smoke and explained how the self-cleaning system worked. Scene cleared at 7:42 p.m.
10:25 a.m. Strong gas smell at 1135 Squire Court. Nothing found at the time we arrived; investigation only. Scene cleared at 10:43 a.m.
10:41 a.m. Gas leak at 530 Elm Ave. Investigation only; nothing found. Scene cleared at 11:01 a.m.
2:13 p.m. Gas leak at 809 32nd Ave. (Research Technology Center). Three unit heaters had small leaks. Gas company arrived and repaired. Scene cleared at 2:41 p.m.
5:15 p.m. A car accident and gas leak occurred at 223 Sixth St. Personnel assisted with road closure and standby for gas leak. Scene cleared 7:03 p.m.
7:03 p.m. Vehicle accident occurred at Interstate 29 mile marker 127. Fire crews provided traffic control. Scene cleared at 11:06 p.m.
7:49 p.m. A heater fire occurred at 600 Medary Ave. S. No. 3B. Fire crews overhauled the heater and investigated the fire. Scene cleared at 8:18 p.m.
8:40 a.m. A fire alarm occurred at 608 Medary Ave. S. #B. False alarm canceled en route. Scene cleared at 8:40 a.m.
7:45 a.m. A fire alarm occurred at 500 Rainbow Parkway. False alarm canceled en route. Scene cleared at 7:50 a.m.
9:29 a.m. A fire alarm occurred at 1615 Main. Ave. S. Cancelled en route. Scene cleared at 9:32 a.m.
3:14 p.m. A gas odor occurred at 2130 Eighth St. S. An investigation revealed no leak. Scene cleared at 3:28 p.m.
11:58 p.m. A fire alarm occurred at 1420 Orchard Drive. Fire personnel investigated and reset the alarm; no fire. Scene cleared at 12:55 a.m.
5:59 a.m. A car fire was reported at 202 Main Ave. S. An investigation revealed no fire; false alarm. Scene cleared at 7:04 a.m.
