Burglary reported at rural White construction site

WHITE – Tools were stolen from a construction site, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglary was reported at 2 p.m. March 2 and occurred near Highway 30 and 479th Avenue in rural White, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

“Someone entered the construction site and stole a yellow 4-foot Keller step ladder, and a Multi Qwip, gravel plate packer that is orange with a black handle. The items are worth an estimated $1,800,” he said.

The burglary and theft occurred sometime between Dec. 25, 2017, and March 2, Sebring added.
