Christian Lee Donley, 30, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at his residence in Brookings of natural causes.
A visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Rude’s Funeral Home in Brookings.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Rude’s with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Christian Lee Donley, the son of Harvey and Joelle (Limmer) Donley was born Sept. 2, 1988, in Brookings. He attended Estelline High School. Christian worked with his father at their family business, Donley’s Computer Repair Center as a Technician.
Christian enjoyed music, playing guitars and going to music festivals with his many friends.
He was an excellent performer and enjoyed spinning fire and being in the outdoors. Christian will be remembered for his huge heart and beautiful smile.
Christian is survived by his father, Harvey (Lori VonEye) Donley of Estelline; his mother, Joelle (Brian) Fritz of Sioux Falls; his daughter, Ivy Rayne Rott of Aberdeen; his siblings, Jenna (Ross) Sutter of Sioux Falls, Austin (Natalie) Donley of Sioux Falls, Troy Donley of Nebraska, Colby Donley of Sioux Falls; his paternal grandmother, Helen Donley of Brookings; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Bonnie Limmer of Sioux Falls; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lister Donley; and two sisters, Hannah Jo and Carrie Ann.
The family requests that floral tributes be non-Christmas flowers.
