LAKE POINSETT – The Deubrook Area girls and Great Plains Lutheran boys won team titles in the Hamlin Early Bird on Thursday at Lake Region.

Girls

The Dolphins shot 281 to edge Sisseton (282).

The Redmen’s Kelsey Heath was medalist following a round of 84.

The Chargers’ Taylor Koisti and Deubrook’s Bailey Landmark both shot 90 and finished second and third, respectively.

Rounding out the Dolphins’ team tally, Allison Andrews (91) placed fourth and Kamryn Landmark (100) was ninth.

Boys

The Panthers posted a team score of 256. Deubrook was second at 267 and Arlington (292) ended up fifth.

GPL’s Sam Hansen ran away from the field with a 3-over-par 75 – good for an eight-stroke victory.

Castlewood’s Lane Tvedt and Deubrook’s Gavin Landmark both carded 83 and ended up second and third, respectively.

The Dolphins’ Jackson Selleck (89) was seventh and Connor Andrews (95) placed 10th.

Britt Carlson paced the Cardinals with a 96, putting him in 12th.
