BROOKINGS – The Edgebrook Golf Course was burglarized over the weekend and cash was taken, according to the Brookings Police.
The theft was reported Monday and occurred Sunday evening or early Monday morning, at the golf course, which is located in the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue South, Assistant Chief Derrick Powers said.
“Someone entered the clubhouse and took an undisclosed amount of cash. No signs of forced entry,” Powers said.
The theft remains under investigation, he added.
