BROOKINGS – Manners don’t matter when you’re fighting for first place in a fierce wing-eating contest. That’s just what this group was up to Saturday afternoon, at the Swiftel Center’s annual Wing and Brew Festival.
The event featured wings and craft brews from a variety of vendors, plus sand volleyball and bean bag tournaments, live music, a wing-eating contest, inflatables and more.
Above, Jack Thompson, Chris Knutson, Dakota Thacker and Shayla Smith compete in the wing-eating contest, as KCountry 102.3’s Bryan Waltz looks on. Below, Jaimye Wininger, Miss Wheel Jam's Outstanding Teen 2017, and Selina Hallan tackle their bucket of wings.
