BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University’s Jackrabbit Central location in downtown Brookings will open Thursday. The store is scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. The store will be open for high-risk customers from 10-11 a.m. each day.
The store will be limited to 10 customers. Dressing rooms will be closed and returns and exchanges are not available to do at this time.
When arriving, customers are encouraged to follow the signage and practice social distancing. The entrance door will be propped open to reduce touchpoints and cleaned periodically. Customers are encouraged to wear cloth face coverings.
Jackrabbit Central will close at 5 p.m. to thoroughly clean surfaces.
“The University Bookstore team is excited to be able to once again service the passionate friends, fans and alumni for South Dakota State University through this downtown Brookings location,” said Derek Peterson, assistant vice president-business services.
The checkout counter will be cleaned following each customer transaction and a hand sanitizer station is available at the store.
