Five different Jackrabbits scored in double figures – led by Mike Daum’s 24 points. David Jenkins Jr. added 18; Reed Tellinghuisen chipped in with 17 and Ian Theisen contributed 11. Chris Howell came off the bench in the second half and tallied 15 in just 13 minutes of action.

The Saints stayed in the game for the first 9 minutes – pulling within 24-19 following a fastbreak layup by Julius Jackson with 11:03 to play in the half.

Still leading 41-25, back-to-back 3s by Jenkins and Daum were followed by a pair of Jenkins’ foul tosses; another 3-pointer by Skyler Flatten and a layup by Theisen as SDSU went up by 29 points, 54-25, with 2:48 left.

The first-half lead reached 32 points – 59-27 – after a Jenkins’ jumper inside of a minute as the Jacks led 59-30 after the first 20 minutes.

SDSU scored the first seven points of the second half on a Daum layup, and then, a dunk by Tellinghuisen in transition, followed by a 3-pointer by Tellinghuisen to make it 66-30.

Brandon Key’s fastbreak layup gave the Jacks a 40-point lead at 88-48 midway through the second before Tevin King’s 3-pointer with 4:15 left pushed the margin to 51 points (105-54).

A minute later, Howell’s basket gave SDSU its largest lead of the game – 53 points – at 109-56, before PC closed the game with a 12-2 run for the final score.
