BROOKINGS – Illusionist Reza Borchardt uses a table saw over the neck of Bryan Waltz of Brookings Radio; the table saw was the winning illusion chosen by listeners of the KCountry radio station.
Reza performed to a sold-out crowd of more than 1,800 fans at the Swiftel Center on Saturday night. Illusions included arriving on stage on a motorcycle, predicting names and numbers from random audience members, making people disappear, and walking through a steel door.
Reza performs a steel ring illusion while telling the story of his journey into the entertainment and illusion industry.
For the final illusion, Reza made a helicopter appear on-stage. Throughout the show, Reza made mention of feeling welcome and enjoying being back in his hometown of Brookings.
