BROOKINGS – A 30-year-old Brookings man was arrested on suspicion of sexual contact without consent over the weekend, according to the Brookings Police.
The incident was reported by a woman Saturday afternoon and occurred Friday afternoon in the 500 block of 12th Street South, said Lt. Derrick Powers.
The woman said she and the man live together, he added.
“She reported inappropriate contact by him even after she told the male no,” Powers said.
The man was arrested for sexual contact without consent and simple assault, Powers said.
