BROOKINGS – A Minnesota man was arrested after he allegedly tried to enter a residence that wasn’t his, according to Brookings Police.
Chase Hinsch, 21, of Goodhue, Minnesota, was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Brookings County Detention Center, she said.
The incident was reported at 9:08 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 900 block of Seventh Street, Lt. Marci Gebers said.
“Upon arrival, one of our officers encountered this male. He was yelling; he wasn’t wearing a shirt or shoes,” Gebers said.
“The officer found that he was armed with a knife,” she said. “Thankfully, he complied with our officer’s commands to put the knife down.”
“Alcohol was a factor,” Gebers added.
