Monday, June 21
• The Brookings Toastmasters Club 3712 meets every Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the Mission Coffeehouse in the eastside room at the First Lutheran Church. Visitors are welcome. The club provides an excellent opportunity to learn public speaking skills, as well as meeting business men and women from the Brookings area. For more information, call 605-592-0720.

• The Optimist Club of Brooking meets every Tuesday at noon in the Buffalo Wild Wings private room.

• Sons of Norway Lodge 1-508 will meet on Tuesday, June 22, in the Community Building on Monarch Lane just off 22nd Avenue at Meadow Green starting at 7 p.m. Following the welcome, John Stiegelmeier, SDSU head football coach, will provide the program discussing the upcoming football season. After the program, there will be an open ceremony and a short business meeting will be conducted. No meal will be served, but ice cream, cookies and coffee will be available. • The Kiwanis Club of Brookings meets every Thursday at noon. The club is currently meeting via Zoom but hopes to soon start meeting in person at the Mission Coffeehouse. Send a text to 605-695-3383 for the Zoom link to the meeting.
