BROOKINGS – Mr. Twister came to the Brookings Public Library to perform optical illusions and magic tricks and tell stories using balloons Wednesday. Children came on stage to take part in the story telling and were able to keep their balloon animals. Afterward, children like Ariana Langelett and Wynley Rausch, below, received balloon hats along with special hearts.
The next Super Special Wednesday program at the library is the annual Transportation Fair from 9-11 a.m. June 28 in the library parking lot. From fire trucks to garbage trucks and everything in between, come see what keeps the city moving.
