Saturday, Feb. 8
7:30 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana.
11:53 a.m. Stopped vehicle for speeding, arrested driver for possession of controlled substance
1:25 p.m. Officers spoke with a female in regard to lost or stolen property. A report was filed.
5:53 p.m. Officers took a report of a hit-and-run in the 600 block of 11th Avenue. A report was filed.
8:08 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Eberlein Drive for a domestic disturbance. One female was arrested. A report was filed.
Sunday, Feb. 9
9:42 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 200 block of Main Avenue South for a two-vehicle accident. One passenger was checked and cleared by an ambulance at the scene. A state accident report was completed.
Monday, Feb. 10
3:23 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received information regarding ongoing harassment. An informational report was filed.
4:10 p.m. Officer Engstrom responded to the 2100 block 22nd Avenue South for a report of a sexual assault. A report was filed, and an investigation is ongoing.
4:19 p.m. Dogs running at large
7:30 p.m. Officers received a phone call in reference to harassment. A report was generated.
