Sunday, May 17
8:36 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 100 block of Council Ridge Road for a juvenile incident.
4:12 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a non-injury crash in the 200 block of Folsom Street.
8:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 12th Street South for a report of a male with mental health issues. An investigation was made, and the male was brought to the ER for an involuntary committal. A report has been filed for documentation.
8:57 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Sixth Street. One female was arrested on drug related charges. A report was filed.
Monday, May 18
1:11 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Main Avenue. One female was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Tuesday, May 19
11:15 a.m. Officer Engstrom responded to the 700 block of Second Street South for a report of damage to a mailbox. The suspect vehicle was located, and a report was filed.
12:27 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a minor accident. A report was filed.
1:21 p.m. Passing NSF checks over $1,000
7:14 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Main Avenue to a non-injury crash. A report was taken.
8:26 p.m. Brookings Police officers served a warrant at Brookings County Detention Center.
9:23 p.m. Officers were called to an active burglary in progress and an assault. Two adults were arrested.
