Sunday, June 2

2:44 a.m. Possession of a controlled drug or substance; curfew violation

4:28 a.m. Officers responded to a call for a vehicle that was involved in a rollover accident. One male was arrested for DUI and other charges. A report was filed.

7:47 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Ninth Street for a domestic disturbance. One female was placed under arrest, and a report was filed.

8:43 a.m. Officer Larsen was dispatched to 1014 Yorktown Drive for a report of a runaway juvenile. It is currently under investigation.

10:07 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Medary Avenue South in reference to a mailbox vandalism. There are no suspects at this time. A report was filed.

10:48 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for an unattended death.

12:15 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Ash Avenue for a report of vandalism. A report was filed.

3:12 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, police service dog Gina was deployed around the vehicle and indicated to the odor of illegal drugs. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana.

11:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Ninth Street for a domestic assault. An investigation is ongoing.

Monday, June 3

9:16 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Sixth Street for a report of a forgery. A report was filed.

9:58 a.m. Officer Larsen responded to the 1400 Block of Willow Springs Circle for a report of a house that had been egged. It is currently under investigation.

10:19 a.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of a damaged property sign from the 100 block of 12th Avenue South. An investigation is pending.

10:39 a.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of a damaged property sign from the 1000 block of Forest Street. An investigation is pending.

4:08 p.m. Officers were made aware of a bond violation. A report was filed.

4:10 p.m. Fraud

5:12 p.m. Officers took a report regarding a stolen vehicle. A report was filed.
