Monday, July 27

7:59 a.m. Officer Page took a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A city accident form was completed.

8:13 a.m. Officers conducted an agency assist in the 600 block of Main Avenue. A report was generated.

11:03 a.m. Non-injury accident

5:46 p.m. Brookings Police met with an individual in regard to possible Fraud. A report was filed.

7:02 p.m. Non-injury accident

7:19 p.m. Law enforcement was called to Brookings Emergency Room to take a report of an assault.

8:39 p.m. Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, one male driver was issued citations for speeding and no insurance.

Tuesday, July 28

8:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of 22nd Avenue South for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. A report was filed.

1:57 p.m. Intentional damage to property, $400-$1,000

7:36 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft from the 300 block of Medary Avenue South. A report has been filed, and the incident is being investigated.

8:28 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a bicycle theft. A report was filed.

Wednesday, July 29

8:10 a.m. An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of LeFevre Drive for a report of a hit-and-run. The vehicle came back, and a report was filed.

9:26 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Avenue for a vandalized vehicle windshield.

11:36 a.m. Dispatch notified Officer Doremus of a female wanting to report her bicycle stolen.

11:52 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Medary Avenue South for a welfare check. The individual was later found deceased.

6:09 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a welfare check.

Thursday, July 30

1:12 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Third Avenue for a report of a possible domestic assault. An investigation was made on scene, and one female was arrested. A report was filed.

2:25 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a female who had fallen from a third-story balcony.

8:24 a.m. Dispatch notified Officer Doremus of vandalism at Pioneer Park.

11:36 a.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident which occurred in the 300 block of Fourth Street. A report was filed.

6:15 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 800 block of Christine Avenue in reference to a welfare check.

9:19 p.m. Second-degree kidnapping; aggravated assault domestic
