12:28 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

10:02 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of the western diagonal. One male was cited for a drug offense. A report was filed.

11:57 a.m. A crash occurred at the intersection of Sixth Street and 22nd Avenue. No injuries were reported, and a report has been submitted.

1:41 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.

2:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of 22nd Avenue due to a report of a two-vehicle crash in a parking lot where one party was injured. This party was later transported to the Brookings Emergency Room.

2:14 p.m. Sgt. Franklin took a report of fraud in the 600 block of Medary Avenue.

3:31 p.m. Sgt. Franklin responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 200 block of Third Avenue South.

3:32 p.m. Officers took a report of a non-injury accident at KFC. A report was filed.

Saturday, Aug. 29

4:59 a.m. Brookings Police received a call in regard to a protection order violation. A report was generated.

1:21 p.m. Officer Page was dispatched to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Third Avenue and Third Street. One driver was cited, and a state accident form was completed.

2:39 p.m. Officers took a report of fraud.

Sunday, Aug. 30

9:17 a.m. A report of theft was handled at the City of Brookings Police Department. A report was filed.

6:16 p.m. Brookings Police took a call about a stolen bike. A report was filed.
