Saturday, Sept. 11
1:30 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for the report of an assault.
11:52 a.m. An individual dropped off found property at the police station. The property was placed into evidence, and a report was taken.
1:07 p.m. Officers took a report along with UPD of a sexual assault which occurred at a bar downtown.
7:47 p.m. Aggravated assault domestic
Sunday, Sept. 12
1:22 a.m. Officer Larsen took a report in regard to a domestic disturbance that had taken place. Throughout the investigation, it was determined a male threatened to kill a female and eventually threw an airsoft gun at the female victim’s vehicle as she drove away. The male was located and placed under arrest for several charges.
1:56 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
2 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a disturbance. A report was filed for documentation.
4:03 a.m. Brookings Police checked on a parked vehicle near Skinner’s. A male was sleeping inside and found to be intoxicated. One male was placed under arrest.
4:23 a.m. Brookings Police made contact with a vehicle in a 24-hour parking lot. The owner of the vehicle was arrested for driving under influence.
4:23 a.m. Officers were requested to the 100 block of Second Avenue South for a report of a fight that had occurred earlier in the night. An arrest was made.
3:57 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 22nd Avenue South and 20th Street South for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.
9:13 p.m. Officer Larsen responded to a tip received from a crisis hot line in regard to a juvenile female who had made suicidal comments. The juvenile was transported to the hospital and received attention from a qualified mental health professional.
