8:15 a.m. Petty theft, $400-$1,000

5:29 p.m. Officer Asmus assisted the South Dakota Highway Patrol with an accident on Interstate 29. A report was filed.

7:09 p.m. Officer Larsen assisted Deputy Larsen on a traffic stop. Three males were arrested for various drug charges.

8:02 p.m. Officer McCaskill was requested to the 2500 block of Sixth Street for the report of stolen auction items from a hotel meeting room. The incident is under investigation, and no suspect has been identified at this time.

9:46 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Avenue for a disorderly male who would not leave an establishment. The male was arrested for various drug charges.

9:55 p.m. Officer Asmus responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident that occurred on private property on the 100 block of Sixth Street West. A city accident report was filed.

Saturday, Oct. 20

1:07 a.m. Driving without valid license or pemit; DUI; driving without headlights

1:14 p.m. Officer Hart conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 22nd Avenue and University Blvd. The driver of the vehicle was cited for speeding, no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

2:58 p.m. Officers were driving the area of Second Avenue South and Folsom Street and stumbled upon a family disturbance. The parties were separated, and a no trespass order was issued.

4:21 p.m. In the 100 block of First Avenue South, an officer made contact with a male. The odor of marijuana was detected, and the male was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

6:52 p.m. Officers were requested to the 300 block of Thunder Lane for a report of a male and female fighting. A male was arrested for simple assault domestic violence.

Sunday, Oct. 21

12:52 a.m. Simple assault domestic; simple assault

2:14 a.m. Harassment

6:03 p.m. Officers were requested to 1027 Western Ave. for a report of a possible theft. A female was arrested for simple assault domestic violence and third-degree burglary.

6:48 p.m. Officer Jurrens responded to the 1700 block of Sixth Street in reference to a report of a possible kidnapping. Investigation showed the juvenile was misbehaving for the parents.

8:37 p.m. Officers were dispatched to Pactola Cove in regard to a reporting party wanting a welfare check completed. The individual was located and safe.

9:19 p.m. Officer Weinrich was dispatched to the 1000 block of Third Avenue for a report of a juvenile male who was destroying a residence. The juvenile male was cited for simple assault domestic violence.
