2:25 a.m. Officer Bonnema stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
2:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of 12th Street South for a non-injury crash. A report was taken.
2:52 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of possible child abuse that occurred in Brookings.
3:49 p.m. Officers took a report of electronic harassment over the phone. A report was taken.
6:20 p.m. A stolen vehicle reported out of Sioux Falls was located in the Lowe’s parking lot.
6:33 p.m. Officer Kreutner responded to the 1300 block of Fourth Street for a report of a vandalism. A report was generated.
Thursday, Oct. 25
12:06 a.m. Officer Kreutner conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Third Street. After an investigation, a driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
12:43 a.m. Officer Bonnema stopped a motor vehicle for speeding. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
6:17 a.m. Officers took a report of damage to a residence window caused by a BB gun.
7:38 a.m. Officer Hart responded to the intersection of 22nd Avenue and Eastbrook Drive for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident involving a utility pole. A state accident report was completed, and one citation for failure to yield was issued.
7:53 a.m. Officers responded to the 3100 block of Century Circle in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. A report was filed.
9:56 a.m. School Resource Officer Schneider was informed of a possible sexual assault involving a high school student. An investigation is ongoing.
5:30 p.m. Threating or harassing contacts by telephone or other electronic device.
