WHITE – The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who hit a vehicle in White and left the scene, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
The hit and run was reported at 7:55 a.m. Monday and occurred in the 200 block of West First Street in White, Sebring said.
“The hit-and-run is believed to have happened in the early morning hours of Monday, Feb. 11,” between 1 and 7 a.m., Sebring said.
“The victim’s vehicle is a 2008 Subaru Legacy and it received an estimated $1,900 worth of damage. The suspect vehicle is unknown,” Sebring said.
