BROOKINGS –The sixth-grade People of the Past Wax Museum will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at Brookings High School.
“Students have been busy researching a person of the past in their reading classes and are excited to bring their person to life at this annual event,” sixth-grade reading and English teacher Makenzi Chamley said.
“Students are excited to show off their costumes and to raise money for this year’s charity, the Brookings Area United Way.”
Students will remain frozen wax figures until a quarter is placed in their container, then they will come to life and share about their person.
All are welcome to attend the fundraiser for the Brookings Area United Way on Monday.
