BROOKINGS – A skid loader was stolen and later recovered, but authorities are still looking for the person who took it, according to the Brookings Police.
The 2018 Bobcat T595, which is white and runs on tracks, is valued in excess of $50,000, said Assistant Chief Derrick Powers.
It was reported stolen Tuesday afternoon and the theft occurred sometime during Sunday afternoon hours, Powers said.
“Yesterday afternoon, we were contacted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office … they had recovered it down in Lincoln County,” Powers said.
“This matter still remains under investigation,” he added.
