SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State won its fourth straight and 10th overall Summit League “Food Fight” title, the conference office announced Thursday.
The Jackrabbits collected more than 24,000 pounds during the five-month campaign. In total, Summit League members collected more than 54,000 total pounds valued at approximately $92,000. Omaha finished second, followed by North Dakota State.
South Dakota State has won 10 Summit League Food Fight titles over the last 15 years. In the program’s 15 years, nearly 1.2 million pounds of food have been secured for local Summit League communities.
