Two students at Mickelson Middle School — both are seventh graders — won second place and third place in the “Paul Witherington Creative Writing Contest — SDSU 2023."
In the middle school prose division Alesha Hofer won second place with her entry, “Scripts and Knives.” Sarah Hoaglund captured third place with her entry, “White Roses."
