Todd W. Kurth,  48, of Lake Benton, Minnesota, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in Huron.

Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Hendricks, Minnesota.  Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service at the Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel in Hendricks.  Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.  Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel of Hendricks, Minnesota, is entrusted with the arrangements.

Todd W. Kurth was born March 13, 1969, in Hendricks to David and Sylvia (Nielsen) Kurth. He graduated from Hendricks High School and then attended UND. Todd married Amy Christianson on Sept. 4, 1993, in Marshall, Minnesota, and they had four children.

He worked at Midwest Aviation and was mentored by Norm Schnieder for getting his aviation mechanic license and his pilot license. Following employment included crew chief for Red Baron air show circuit and Red Baron Museum curator. Other employment included air mechanic for Morris Riggen and John Klatt air shows and West Metro aviation for the Michael Wiskus air show.

Todd’s interests were many that involved most outdoor actives as hunting, fishing, scuba diving and spending time on the family farm with his family. He also was handy at carpentry. Todd died in his apartment in Huron.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Kurth; four children, Taylor (Haley), Austin (Kelly) and son Decker, Jenna and Beau; his parents, David and Sylvia and his sister, Karla (Tim) and his aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents; one brother, Brett and his uncles.
