The incident was reported at 9:30 a.m. Monday and occurred in a corn field near the north end of Oakwood Park in rural Bruce, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

The rural Bruce resident reported that between 1:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday, “he had parked his tractor in a field. He stated that he returned and found that someone had shot the back window out of his tractor that was parked in the field,” Sebring said.

The cost to replace the window is estimated at $400, he added.
