BROOKINGS – Trent Lusignan bested a loaded field at the 15th annual Beef and Eggs 5K on Saturday, winning in a time of 14 minutes, 55.2 seconds.

Trevor Capra was second in 15:25.8, followed by Lukas Nelson (15:27) in third, Luke Pierson (15:40.9) in fourth and Brendan Sage (15:45.8) in fifth.

Maddie Van Beek was the fastest female finisher with a 16:16.1 clocking. She took seventh overall.
