PLYMOUTH, Minnesota – Twin City Fan laid off some staff throughout South Dakota earlier in May, said Trinity Persful, vice president of marketing, in an email to the Register Friday.
“Last week we had a reduction in force of nearly 25 employees. Those employees were in mostly office roles,” Persful wrote, adding the company has more than 900 employees in South Dakota.
“Twin City Fan Companies is committed to the safety and well-being of all our employees. While we typically do not comment on employment changes, it is important to reiterate our commitment to the local communities,” he wrote.
“The core drivers of our business remain solid, and we expect growth again in the very near future. Our industry bounces back quicker than most. Through all of this, we will continue to serve our customers and focus on developing a stronger organization,” Persful wrote.
