ELKTON – Vandals have damaged the Elkton City Park and soccer field, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The damage was reported at 9:10 a.m. Thursday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“A vehicle … had driven through the Elkton City Park and onto the soccer field, causing some $200 worth of damage to the grass in the park and field,” Sebring said.
It is believed to have happened between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday, he said.
