VOLGA – The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who struck another vehicle, leaving damages estimated at $1,500, according to Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
The hit-and-run was reported early Wednesday evening in the 500 block of Ashley Avenue in Volga, Sebring said.
“It was found that a 2008 Dodge Avenger had been parked on the street and was struck by another vehicle,” Sebring said.
The accident occurred between 9 p.m. Tuesday to when it was noticed at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
