VOLGA – A Volga home was burglarized recently and items were stolen, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglary was reported at 6 p.m. Thursday and occurred in the 200 block of Kasan Avenue in Volga, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“It was found that sometime between Saturday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. to Thursday, June 6, at 5:30 p.m., someone entered the residence and stole two Omega watches, a Rolex watch, a Kahr Arms PM .40 caliber handgun,” Sebring said.
“The home was locked, and no forced entry was found. The burglary is under investigation with the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office,” Sebring said.
