ARLINGTON — The Arlington FFA Chapter recently announced the success of its recent Meals of Hope event, where 45 volunteers came together to package 24,000 meals in just two hours.

This event took place on Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon in the auxiliary gym at Arlington School.

The event was headed by Arlington FFA President Preston Singrey, with assistance from Treasurer Addison Marone and Secretary Kashley Goebel in planning and organizing the day's activities. Under their leadership, the chapter successfully raised $8,000 to support this important initiative, ensuring that thousands of individuals will have access to nutritious meals. This achievement was made possible through the generous contributions of many sponsors, whose support was instrumental in making this event a reality.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Singrey said, "It was incredible to see our community come together for such a meaningful cause. The dedication and hard work of our volunteers and the generosity of our sponsors made this possible. Together, we've made a real impact, and I couldn't be prouder of what we've accomplished."
