BROOKINGS – The Brookings School District announced that, through its Child Find Program, it will offer free screening opportunities for any parent or guardian residing in the district who suspects a child may have developmental concern or disability.
Screenings will be held on Wednesdays, Oct. 4, and Nov. 15 of this year and Feb. 28, 2018, at Dakota Prairie Elementary School at 111 26th St. S.
To schedule a screening, call 696-4712.
Those unable to attend one of the screenings should call 696-4712 and the staff will refer them to the early childhood special education staff for additional help.
Those who have children under the age of 3 and would like them to be screened should contact Stephanie Krusemark at 605-202-0697.
